Making the Most of Everyone's Skills and Talents
Wednesday 6th December 2017
The Government's new Careers Strategy has just been published and it's good to see a renewed commitment to improving the quality and availability of careers advice for school and colleges. With significant funds being allocated to ensuring that all schools have a dedicated Careers Leader, the introduction of 20 new Career Hubs across the country, and a £500 million investment in T (technical) levels of education, the report makes good reading. There really is more than one route to a great career, and the addition of T levels is welcomed, adding another layer of opportunity for young people.
