"Having worked with Breda for a number of years, both as a Form Tutor and as a Head of Year, I have always enjoyed teaching and overseeing the Careers lessons she has prepared. Each and every PowerPoint was detailed and well thought out in terms of the teacher's delivery as well as the students' understanding. They were regularly updated with current resources and key information so you knew everything you were referring to was fully relevant. The thought and planning that goes into Breda's work is always apparent through the engagement of students, parents and staff."

"Mrs Nuttall was my careers adviser when I was in my last year of A levels and was a massive support. She helped me with applications, commercial/industry knowledge, the appropriate way to communicate as well as interview practices. Her sessions allowed me to get into real life situations and we would practise competency based questions and proof read applications prior to submitting. With her help, I secured a full time job with a big four professional services firm (Ernst & Young) on their School Leaver Programme, allowing me to jump on the career ladder whilst also qualifying as a Chartered Accountant earlier than usual. She has a wealth of knowledge about different sectors and will be a great help to anyone feeling they are at a crossroad."

I finally had the chance to sit in for the whole session today and it was fantastic - thank you Breda. It was really useful for the students to get such practical advice.

I would like to thank you for all the advice, support and motivation you gave me during our session. Your kind words and guidance is something I will always carry with me throughout my life, and it has honestly given me more confidence in my future aspiration.

Mrs Nuttall encouraged me to explore apprenticeships at year 10 and 11, which made me pursue it after Sixth Form. She also walked me through job/work experience application processes in such a helpful manner, whereby I was able to secure a work experience placement.

The Employability Skills Workshop was helpful as we learnt more about employment and what makes a student standout.
